Let's make Keto Cheeseburger Pie


  • 1 lb. ground beef (I used extra lean ground beef, but any variety will work)
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I used 2% shredded cheddar)
  • ½ cup Bisquick baking mix (I used Heart Smart Bisquick, but any other similar all-purpose baking mix will work)
  • 1 cup milk (I used 2% milk)
  • 2 eggs


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a 9-inch pie dish (an 8-inch square pan will also work) with cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink (about 8-10 minutes). Drain.
  • Stir in salt, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and cheese.
  • Transfer beef mixture to the prepared pie dish.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together Bisquick, milk, and eggs, just until combined (it’s fine if you still have some lumps in the batter – do not overmix).
  • Pour batter on top of beef.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
