Jicama Fries
Ingredients:
- 1 cup jicama (sliced into fry shaped pieces)
- Butter or oil for frying
- Seasonings of choice.
Instructions:
- 1. Slice jicama into fry shaped pieces
- 2. Boil for 20 minutes (boiling makes them less crunchy)
- 3. Remove from water, put them in the pan with butter on medium-high until they start to brown. (you can also air fry or deep fry them)
- Macros for 1 cup of jicama:
- Calories: 24
- Fat: 0.1g
- Protein: 1g
- Net carbs: 5g
- Fiber: 6g
