Nacho cheese flavored tacos made using cut the carb shells!
Now you can eat low carb & have your favorite Taco Bell meal.
Ingredients For The Keto Doritos Locos Tacos
- Cut Da Carb flatbread
- Kernel Seasons nacho cheddar seasoning
- avocado oil for frying
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet Hidden Valley Fiesta Ranch seasoning (0 carbs!)
- 1/4 cup water
- shredded Mexican blend cheese
- shredded romaine lettuce
Instructions For The Keto Doritos Locos Tacos
- Cook ground beef until no longer pink.
- Add water and fiesta ranch packet. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 4-5 minutes
- Using a small bowl as a guide, cut your flatbread into circles. (2 circles per flatbread makes the best size)
- Heat 1/2 inch of avocado oil in a skillet on low. These cook very quickly. Using tongs hold on to one side of your shell and place the opposite side in the hot oil (making a taco shape).
- Cook for 5-10 seconds, then turn over and fry the other side. Make sure to use the tongs and hold one side up each time to keep the "taco" shape. Sprinkle the cooked shells with Kernel Season's nacho cheddar and shake off the excess
- Assemble tacos with meat, cheese, and lettuce. Feel free to add tomatoes, onion, or guac if you want to be extra!

These shells crisp up perfectly but can be fragile. If you want to take the easy route, just make Doritos locos chips instead for a taco salad. Simply cut your flatbread into triangles, fry, and top with nacho cheese seasoning
