How To Make A Keto Honey Garlic Steak Bites

Ingredients:


  • 680 grams sirloin steak, fat trimmed, diced into cubes just under 1 one inch⁣
  • 1/3C low-sodium soy sauce⁣
  • 1/2 tsp honey⁣ (allowed just on low-carb, not on keto) 
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced (1 Tablespoon )⁣
  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil⁣
  • Green onions or sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)⁣


Instructions:

1. Place the steak pieces in a gallon-size resealable bag. ⁣
2. In a bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey, and garlic. Pour over steak, seal bag while pressing out excess air then rub marinade over the steak.⁣
3. Transfer to the refrigerator and let marinate one to 2 hours.⁣
4. Heat 1 Tablespoon oil in a heavy non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. ⁣

5. Remove 1/2 the steak from marinade, transfer to the skillet (just spaced apart), and let sear until golden brown, about one minute then flip to the opposite side.⁣
6. Let continue to cook to your desired doneness, about one-minute longer (internal safe temperature is about 145 degrees). Transfer to a plate and repeat w/ remaining steak.⁣
7. Serve warm garnished with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
